Children’s Liturgy of the Word

Children age 4 through 2nd graders who haven’t made First Communion yet are invited to Children’s Liturgy of the Word on Sundays during the 10:30 AM Mass. The children are called forward by the celebrant after the Gloria and follow the leaders to the Gathering Space for Liturgy of the Word. The children return after the homily. To volunteer to help with this ministry please contact the parish office.

Each year, the Diocese of Toledo is required to undergo an audit to ensure that it is in compliance with the articles of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People. This year’s audit examined the audit period of July 1, 2018 through September 30, 2021. Bishop Daniel Thomas is pleased to announce that the Diocese was found to be in full compliance with the requirements in the Charter following the audit.
